German luxury car manufacturer Audi has announced a 2% price increase across its models in India, citing rising input and transportation costs. The price hike will be effective from June 1st, 2024, as stated in a press release by Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India.
Dhillon further stated that the price increase aims to ensure sustainable growth for Audi India and its dealer partners. He emphasized Audi’s commitment to minimizing the impact of rising costs on customers.
This is the second consecutive year Audi India has raised prices across its model range. This hike was effective from January 1, 2024
Audi India Market Performance
Audi India achieved a significant 33% sales growth in FY23/24, selling a total of 7,027 units. However, despite recording strong sales of 1,046 units in the first quarter of 2024, Audi might face challenges in surpassing last year’s sales figures due to potential supply chain disruptions.
