Government-owned telecom operator BSNL is actively working on its 5G network rollout. The company plans to deploy a substantial number of towers, with 80,000 to be installed by October and an additional 21,000 by March next year, as announced by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
To expedite the 5G launch, BSNL is exploring the possibility of utilizing its existing 4G core infrastructure. Necessary modifications are currently underway to adapt the network for 5G services.
