Google is testing the Verified Check Marks feature in search results to help users identify trusted websites, by displaying a visible checkmark next to trusted websites, Google hopes to reduce the risk of users being misled by fraudulent sites that often mislead people by pretending to be legitimate businesses.
Google Verified Check Marks Features
Google spokesperson confirms that Google is testing this feature stating “We regularly experiment with features that help shoppers identify trustworthy businesses online, and we are currently running a small experiment showing checkmarks next to certain businesses on Google.”
This is part of Google’s ongoing efforts to improve online safety and provide more reliable information to users. Many websites on Google Search trick users and involve them in fraud and scams. With the verified badge, it will be easier for users to identify trusted websites.

The Verge reported that some users have already seen blue check marks next to links for major companies like Microsoft, Meta, and Apple. However, this feature is still in its early stages and is limited to a small number of users only.
