The Indian government has alerted users about serious security flaws in Google Chrome and Android, discovered by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In). These vulnerabilities could let hackers steal data or control devices through malicious websites or apps.

For Chrome, the vulnerabilities affect versions older than 129.0.6668.100 on Windows and Mac, and 129.0.6668.89 on Linux. Hackers could exploit these by tricking users into visiting harmful websites, leading to potential data theft or malware installation.

Android is also at risk, with versions 12, 12L, 13, 14, and 15 being vulnerable. Key components from MediaTek and Qualcomm are impacted, which could allow hackers to remotely control devices.
