You may encounter storage issues on your smartphone, where your storage is full despite cleaning and removing unwanted files. Even adding an SD card might not always solve the problem. If you’re facing this issue, here are some tips and tricks to free up storage on your smartphone.
Use WhatsApp and Telegram for File Backup
Most of us use WhatsApp these days, but did you know you can use it to store your images, videos, or files? If you don’t know how I’ll guide you today.
1. Using WhatsApp for Backup
First, you need to search for your number and start a chat with yourself. In recent years, WhatsApp introduced a feature that allows users to chat with their number. Once you open this chat, you can send files to yourself, which will be stored in WhatsApp.
However, keep in mind that WhatsApp allows you to send files up to 2GB in size only. If you need to back up larger files, don’t worry—there’s a solution.
2. Using Telegram for Larger Backups
Telegram offers a similar feature but with more flexibility. To use Telegram as storage, create a channel, add yourself to it, and send files within that channel. On Telegram, you can send files larger than 2GB, making it an excellent choice for backing up large files.
