ColorOS 15, a new OS for Oppo and OnePlus devices, was unveiled. The new OS will be based on Android 15 and has many upgraded features, including enhanced visual elements with texture interpretation, detailed animations, and new themes. The O+ interconnection app easily transfers files between Oppo devices and iPhones.
ColorOS 15: Features
ColorOS 15 a new operating system by Oppo based on Andriod 15 has a significant update that introduces a range of enhancements and new features.
User Interface and Performance: ColorOS 15 features a refreshed UI, including new dynamic effects, natural light and shadow elements, and updated iconography. The Aurora and Tidal engines improve multitasking by enabling smoother parallel app animations. Performance has been boosted, with app responsiveness improved by 18% and app installations 26% faster.
Interconnectivity: The O+ Interconnection app enables easy file sharing between Oppo devices and iPhones.
AI features: The AI features include an enhanced Xiaobu assistant with natural language understanding, conversational capabilities, on-screen content awareness, and personalized recommendations. Additionally, AI-powered functionality in notes and documents allows for formatting, summarization, and translation.
In the voice recorder, AI provides transcription and summarization capabilities. In the photos app, AI enables one-touch removal of people and reflections, blur removal, image upscaling, and electronic image stabilization (EIS) for live photos.
Other Features: Other features include smart floating window gestures, reversible photo album editing, separate notification and control centers, and automatic OTP deletion.

ColorOS 15 Release Timeline and Compatible Devices
The ColorOS rolled out will starting November in China. The Oppo Find X8 Series and OnePlus 13 will ship with ColorOS 15 out of the box in China. Other Devices release timeline and devices list:
