• First, You need to visit the Income Tax Department’s e-filing portal website. 
• Under the “Quick Links” section on the homepage, click on “Link Aadhaar.”
• Enter your PAN and Aadhaar number.
• Then, enter your name as per your Aadhaar card and registered mobile number. Click on “Link Aadhaar” and then validate the process using the OTP received on your mobile.

• Enter your PAN and Aadhaar number and click on the View Link Aadhaar Status’ button.
• After, a window will appear showing the status of your Aadhaar PAN link. You will see the message.
• “Your PAN is already linked to given Aadhaar.” (Success) 
• And it is in progress. You will see the message “Your Aadhaar-PAN linking request has been sent to UIDAI for validation. Please check the status later by clicking on the ‘Link Aadhaar Status’ link on the Home Page.”
• If your Aadhar is not yet linked, you will see the message “PAN not linked with Aadhaar. Please click on ‘Link Aadhaar’ to link your Aadhaar with PAN.”

• Open your messaging app and compose a new message.
• In the message body, type the following format exactly: UIDPAN Your 12-digit Aadhaar Number> Your 10-digit PAN Number (For example: UIDPAN 123456789012 1ABCDE2345)
• Send the message to either 567678 or 56161. These are the designated numbers for Aadhaar-PAN linking status checks.
• You will receive a reply message from the government service informing you of the linking status.
