The ICICI bank spokesperson said, “It has come to our notice that about 17,000 new credit cards, which were issued in the past few days were erroneously mapped in our digital channels to the wrong users,”

Some users take to X and the online forum Technofino to raise an issue with the credit card of others who are exposed to all the credit card information, including the Name, expiry date, and CVV, in the bank’s iMobile Pay app, where users can change the forward transaction and adjust the settings of these cards.

However, after the bank’s notice and blocked 17000, credits were mapped to the wrong users.
