YouTube is rolling out the transparent status bar feature on YouTube for Andriod. This will improve the user’s experience on YouTube.
YouTube Transparent Status Bar
In a post on 9to5google, this feature was spotted on version 19.37.35 of YouTube for Android (14 + 15). However, it is not fully available you might not see this feature.
In a picture shared by 9to5Google, you see the status appear as transparent unlike previously there was a solid status bar when you scrolled through the app’s Home and Subscriptions feeds.

You notice the video thumbnails displayed below the time, notifications, and status bar icons, providing a slightly more immersive experience. However, when using the system’s dark theme, the transition at the top of these feeds doesn’t appear entirely seamless
