Nothing launches the Nothing Ear Open the first open-style wireless offering by the Company. The Ear Open by Nothing 4.2mm dynamic driver with AI AI-powered Clear Voice technology for improved call quality and offers up to  30 hours of total playback time on a single charge. However, the availability is yet to be announced by Nothing.

The Nothing Ear Open comes in a sole white colour option and is priced at Rs 17,999 in India. However, the company has yet to announce the availability of the earbud but it is already listed on the Nothing India website.

Nothing Ear Open Specification and features

The Nothing Ear Open earbuds feature a unique partially transparent design on the stem, maintaining the brand’s distinctive style. With an open design and a curved band that hooks around the back of the ear. Equipped with a 14.2mm dynamic driver, they promise robust sound performance.

One standout feature is the integration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT, allowing users with a Nothing phone to access the chatbot directly through the earbuds.

The earbuds come with pinch controls for easy handling, and support Swift Pair and Google Fast Pair for seamless device connectivity. These controls, along with EQ settings, can be customized through the Nothing X app. Connectivity is powered by Bluetooth 5.3, supporting AAC and SBC codecs, and they can be paired with two devices simultaneously.

For durability, the Nothing Ear Open has an IP54 rating, making it resistant to dust and splashes. They also feature AI-powered Clear Voice technology, which enhances call quality by reducing noise. The earbuds offer a latency rate of less than 120ms, though they lack active noise cancellation (ANC).

Each earbud houses a 64mAh battery, while the charging case has a 635mAh capacity. On a full charge, the earbuds provide up to six hours of voice calling and eight hours of music playback. Users can get up to 30 hours of music or 24 hours of talk time. A ten-minute charge offers two hours of listening time, making them convenient for on-the-go use. The earbuds weigh 8.1 grams each, and the case weighs 63.8 grams.
