This new OS is also built on Android 15 and offers various enhancements, including Home lock screen customization and dynamic effects. An upgraded Little V assistant with new AI capabilities for video editing and more.
Vivo Origin OS 5 Features
Upgraded Little V Assistant: Upgraded Little V assistant with Circle-to-Search functionality, call handling, transcription in multiple languages, and the ability to save articles and videos for quick access. It also offers writing tools integrated with Atom Notes, Vivo Documents, and emails.
Customization Options: Extensive customization options for home and lock screens, including situational wallpapers, editable lock screen controls, and customizable design elements like materials, colors, layouts, and depth effects.
Mood Wallpaper 2.0: Introduction of Mood Wallpaper 2.0 with AI-powered dynamic wallpapers such as “Fireworks Moment” and “Scenery of Mountains and Sea,” which change based on the time of day and weather.
Enhanced vivo Sans Typeface: Enhanced vivo Sans Typeface with improved readability and support for Greek and Cyrillic writing systems, covering 26 languages.
Weather App Improvements: Weather app updates with dynamic visuals reflecting real-time weather conditions like rain and snow.
AI Capabilities: AI capabilities include dialect-text translation to Mandarin, sign language recognition, and virtual sign language generation. The AI assistant also supports real-time photo analysis and information retrieval.
These features bring improved customization, enhanced AI functionality, and greater accessibility to Vivo Origin OS 5.

Vivo Origin OS 5 Features and Support Devices
Vivo has announced that the Origin OS 5 beta will be available in November for the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, X Fold 3, X100 Ultra, X100s Pro, and X100 Pro in China. Additionally, iQOO devices such as the iQOO 12 Pro, iQOO 12, iQOO Neo 9S Pro+, Neo 9 Pro, Neo 9S Pro, Neo 9, X100s, and X100n will also receive the beta.
In December, the beta will expand to other devices including the Vivo X Fold 2, X Flip, X90 series, and iQOO 11 Pro, 11S, 11, and Z9 Turbo+.
