Redmi to introduce a new smartphone for Indian users in the upcoming month. This smartphone named Redmi 13 5G will launch on July 9 as announced by the company on its X(formerly Twitter) handle. This will be the successor of the Redmi 12 5G and Redmi 12 4G that was launched last year. Some of the specifications the design, and the colour options, are revealed.
Redmi 13 5G launch in India
As confirmed by the company the launch will take place on July 9 at noon IST. A microsite on the company website revealed the colour and design of the Redmi 13 5G.
Redmi 13 5G specifications
The full specification has not been disclosed, but a microsite revealed that it comes with a flat display that has thick bezels, a relatively thicker chin, and a centred hole-punch slot at the top to house the front camera sensor. On the right edge of Redmi 13 5G there is a volume rocker and a power button with a 3.5mm audio jack on the top edge.
On the back of the smartphone appears a shiny, glass finish and a dual rear camera system. A led flash unit is placed in the top corner in three separate, circular, slightly raised modules. The Redmi 13 5G is showcased in two colours – blue and pink.
The smartphone is confirmed to come with a 108-megapixel main rear camera, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and runs on Andriod 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS. The battery also confirms to pack a 5030 mAh battery with a 33W fast charging support.
