The Redmi Note 14 series coming very soon in China. The handset has been featured on multiple certification websites including 3C, FCC, and IMEI. The handsets will succeed in the Redmi Note 13 lineup. While the launch date is yet to be confirmed the Redmi General Manager Thomas Wang teased the arrival of the phone through a Weibo post.
Redmi Note 14 series with IP IP68 rating
The Redmi General Manager Thomas Wang through a post on Weibo, confirm that the Redmi Note 14 series will come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. In a post, he said that there is an industry-standard where phones with a waterproof rating cannot be repaired if they are soaked in water.
While confirming the Redmi Note 14 series comes with an IP68 rating Wang said that they are confident about the waterproof capabilities and asked whether they should consider adding a water damage warranty as well.

In addition, Thomas Wang in another post on Weibo, teased that the Note 14 series will come with strong drop resistance and better battery life much like how the iPhone 16 models are advertised. He also asks if he should buy the new generation iPhone 16.
However, it is not confirmed whether all the Redmi Note 14 series will get the IP68 for water and dust resistance or it limited to top-tiers model like with the Redmi Note 13 series.
