This was reported by the South Korean news website The Elec. The report stated that Samsung is developing a phone with a rollable screen that can expand to a 12.4-inch display. It will be large, comparable to some Android tablets. Additionally, such a big display will be bigger than the latest Huawei Mate X3 Ultimate Design which has a 10.2-inch screen.

The device is also said to feature an under-display camera (UDC), suggesting that the rollable smartphone will not have a camera cutout, offering a full display without any notch or hole. With its rollable, large display and UDC technology, the rollable smartphone might come with an expensive price tag.

Further, the report stated that Samsung has started showing interest in rollable phones, with an expected launch in the second half of 2025. More details might emerge in the coming months.
