The giant music streaming platform Spotify announced on Tuesday that it is expanding its AI-powered Playlist feature to more countries, including the US and Canada. AI playlist is a features that help users create playlists using generative artificial intelligence for premium users.
Spotify AI Playlist expands
The AI playlist is currently available in beta, a feature that helps users personalize their selection of songs. This selection can be further refined via additional text prompts. Spotify is expanding this feature to more markets, including the US, Canada, New Zealand, and Ireland.
However, there is no indication of when this feature will be available in India. Spotify is gradually expanding this feature, and it’s likely more regions, including India, may gain access in future updates.

Additionally, Spotify also offers tools such as ‘daylist’, a personalized playlist that updates daily with new music recommendations, and ‘AI DJ’, which creates music recommendations based on users’ listening habits.
