This Smartphone Has The World’s Fastest RAM up to 9600 MT/s Speed

The iQOO 13 is set to feature the fastest smartphone RAM, surpassing even the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The iQOO 13 is set to feature the fastest smartphone RAM, surpassing even the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. This is thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor powering the device, which supports RAM speeds of over 10,000 mega transfers per second (MT/s). However, most brands using the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor pair it with the slower LPDDR5X RAM, which achieves speeds of around 8,500 MT/s.

In contrast, the iQOO 13 will reportedly utilize the fastest RAM type available: LPDDR5 Ultra. This is iQOO’s marketing term for LPDDR5T RAM, manufactured by SK Hynix. LPDDR5T is an upgraded version of LPDDR5X, offering improved speed and reliability.

The “T” in LPDDR5T stands for “Turbo,” indicating that it is approximately 13% faster than LPDDR5X. For example, while LPDDR5X can reach speeds of up to 8,500 MT/s, LPDDR5T pushes this limit to an impressive 9,600 MT/s.

However, the main drawback of LPDDR5 Ultra (LPDDR5T) is its higher power consumption. This type of RAM is known for being energy-intensive, which could impact battery life. The iQOO 13 is rumored to have a smaller battery capacity, meaning users may have to compromise on battery longevity in exchange for faster RAM performance.

It is important to note that iQOO 13 is confirmed to hit the Indian market by December 3.
