Meta is reportedly working on a feature to allow users to choose their public figure for Meta AI Voice mode on WhatsApp for Andriod. This will let users customize their experience when interacting with the chatbots.
Meta AI voice mode on WhatsApp
It was reported by the WhatsApp feature tracker WABetaInfo, according to the report this feature was spotted on the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.24.19.32. However, it is not visible so users who signed up for the Google Beta Programme will not see it.
The features tracker also shared a screenshot of WhatsApp’s plan to implement several voices for Meta AI.
In a screenshot, it is seen that the voices are said to differ in pitch, tonality, and accents letting users choose according to their interest for a better experience for users. It is likely to be similar to ChatGPT’s existing Voice Mode which offers four different voices to users.

Additionally, the report also mentioned that there are three voices with a UK accent and two with a US accent. It is said to vary in pitch and tone. Furthermore, there will also be four voices belonging to public figures. However, the names are yet to be disclosed, it is said that they could be influencers or celebrities.
