The rapid rise of TikTok and other competition in this field may have led YouTube to enhance its shopping experience within the app to maintain user engagement. Launching features that allow creators to earn more income by increasing sales and viewers to easily shop on YouTube contributes to this goal. YouTube also launched the Affiliate Hub last year to facilitate the sale of affiliate products, and it continues to enhance it to improve user experience.

YouTube “Shopping Collections” allows creators to curate products from their favorite brands for users to browse. The product collection then appears in the creator’s product list, store tab, and video description. You can create these collections on the YouTube Studio app.
