Google is reportedly enhancing the Google Weather app available on Pixel devices with a new Immersive Weather Vibrations feature. The app was launched earlier this year on Pixel 9 devices and later expanded to more Pixel models. This new feature will enhance the weather viewing experience by introducing unique vibration patterns based on current weather conditions.

The feature was discovered in version 1.0.20240910.678970266.release of a Pixels weather app, as reported by Android Authority. The report indicated that the feature is a server-side update and appears as an option in the right-aligned panel, below the AI weather report feature.
The new Immersive Weather Vibrations feature allows Pixel devices to vibrate in sync with weather animations. When available, it can be activated in various weather conditions, including heavy rain, snow, thunderstorms, drizzle, and scattered showers. In addition to animations, a sound effect will also play.
