Google’s AI-powered Pixel Weather app, first unveiled at the Google I/O 2024 event and shipped with the Pixel 9 series, is now expanding its reach to more Pixel devices. As part of the October Feature Drop, supported Pixel devices will receive the Pixel Weather app.

Google’s Pixel Weather app is expanding its reach to more Pixel devices as spotted by 9to5Google. Models in the Pixel 6, Pixel 7, and Pixel 8 series, as well as the Pixel A series ( 6a, Pixel 7a, Pixel 8a, and Google Pixel Tablet), are now eligible to receive the app.
To update your Pixel device with the new Pixel Weather app, simply check for updates on the Google Play Store.
