According to a report, WhatApps channel verification marks will soon get the new colour updated on Andriod from Green to Blue colour.

According to a report, WhatApps channel verification marks will soon get the new colour updated on Andriod from Green to Blue colour. This was spotted by a feature tracked on a recent beta version of WhatsApp, which may soon be rolled into a stable version. A report by WABetaInfo states that the new Blue tick checkmark is already available for the Beta version of WhatsApp on Andriod.

The meta-owned WhatsApp updated the colour scheme to match its mark company colour uniformity across its platforms Instagram and Facebook. It also aims to boost user trust and reduce the risk of impersonation to easily identify whether the entity is genuine, engaging and authentic.

Other features of WhatsApp

Apart from this WhatsApp verification colour change, Meta also working on AI features to be integrated with WhatsApp’s messaging features. This AI chatbot is designed to allow users to edit text and generate replies to images. Additionally, WhatsApp also testing the video note mode for WhatsApp camera along with an ‘Imagine Me’ feature to create personalised images via Meta AI.
